Task 2 & 3— User Journey Map

INSTRUCTIONS

TASK  1

Exercise 1
For this exercise we are tasked to form teams of 3 and create a working prototype for our mobile application which could be anything we want, as long as its not too mainstream or commonly known or exists and used by many people since the goal was to create something new.

During that time, our group members being Me, Adifa and Derin, had a few of us sick but since we kept forgetting to take our pills, we realized how it delayed our healing process and thats where we came up with the idea to make a pill taking reminder app but with a twist to it as gamified with a mascot that would keep you motivated to take your pills, which was inspired by BMO, from Adventure Time.

Before proceeding onto developing the app, further research from users is required which is why we were instructed to conduct a survey for 8 respondents based on the target audience that we are working on which sir said it should be targeted to those who constantly have to take pills in a certain schedule or had that time before, whether its medication or vitamin.

Based on the survey, we got a bigger picture on how to proceed with our application and better understand our target audience. Continuing on, we can proceed onto compiling the 8 user personas based on the survey results and the analysis above.

Exercise 2
The next part of the task requires us to do in depth research for our technicalities and UX requirements as well as the process of developing the application itself.

TASK  2

After some extensive research, we decided to start on the user flow of the app to better have a visual of the app and the navigation throughout the app itself. This took us quite a while to figure out since there were so many things to consider including paying attention to what the users had to say about it during the survey.

We then fixed everything to allocate to the feedback that Mr Hijaz has given us.

FEEDBACK

WEEK 9
- change question 14 in survey
-  ux requirement : 2/3 goals make it in point form
-  ux journey diagram journey 2 : too many things needed to put to set a reminder, come up w a solution to ease the process (example: scan prescription using AI but still keep the manual inputting info method)
-  ux journey diagram : collab with pharmacy and can get discount vouchers when they reach a certain exp or milestone in the rewards

REFLECTION

Though the research process was very long, it did help me to further understand the users expectations and which parts to focus on and integrate in the app itself. This was all very foreign to me as I am new to UX but having the structure of what to work on first step by step actually helped me and guided me so I have a rough visual of what to do.
